I believe the relationships with those we care about —family members, friends, co-workers, and romantic partners — form a significant portion, even a majority, of our lifelong happiness and sense of fulfillment. Our relationship experiences influence our sense of self-worth, confidence, and feelings of safety and security.

Many of us seek therapy because we have difficulty identifying, understanding, or coping with our own (and significant others') emotional experiences, and we feel unequipped to express our feelings and needs to the important people in our lives.

My work is primarily informed by attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I can help you better understand the connections between your family history, and your current challenges and interpersonal conflicts. I aim to supplement this insight-oriented work by sharing communication skills, self-compassion exercises, mindfulness practices, coping skills, and other tools for you to use in your daily life.
